Shadows of the Past, Inc. (SOTP) is a 501(3)(c) Federal non-profit California Public Benefit Corporation. Primarily a living history reenactment group for the purpose of educating the public about the periods of history from 1800 to 1890. SOTP spends much of it's energy in the "western frontier," (1875-1888).

 

1881 Marked the beginning of one of the largest silver strikes in California history and the birth of Calico. This authentic silver mining town lives on as one of the few original mining camps of the Old West.

"Come be a Cowboy"

Located in in Apple Valley, CA. Deadman's Point is the home of The Chuckwagon Dinner and Show. Taste the adventure of an authentic Old West chuckwagon supper & Traditional Cowboy music under clear, starry desert nights around the campfire.

Lone Hand Western

Genuine cowboy fare along with great cowboy entertainment. 

 

These are our talented neighbors on the north side of our territory. Check them out! Their performances include shootouts, staged fights, gun safety shows and other fun stuff.

The Blood Creek Cowboys are a Stunt and Re-enactment group based out of Southern California, dedicated to preserving the history and authenticity of the Old West.
